Rental Dealer Tops In Safety

The grades are in, and it’s official: The Cat Rental Store excels at safety.
The company received its year-end report card from the Alberta Workers’ Compensation Board, coming in first place out of 250 employers in the category of mobile equipment dealer and rental companies.
The yearly report card evaluates metrics such as number and cost of claims, severity and cost of lost time incidents, disabling injuries, and how quickly claims are submitted. In most categories, The Cat Rental Store is not only below the industry average, it has consistently improved its own performance over the last several years.
General manager Harry Hoyer agrees that coming in first is a ranking to be proud of, and points out that even without the high performance report card, safety is an essential part of The Cat Rental Store’s culture.
“Our employees take responsibility for their own, and their coworkers’, safety, and we’re proud to be an industry leader,” he said. “This number-one ranking cements our commitment to living every day safely.”
