Finning earns Top Engine Parts Truck Dealer Award

Outstanding performance in sales and service recently earned Finning Canada recognition as a market leader in truck engine parts. Finning received the “2014 Top Engine Parts Truck Dealer in North America” honour from Caterpillar at an award ceremony in Texas in April.

“This is a very significant accomplishment for the team,” says Finning Canada SVP power systems Joel Harrod, “They worked tremendously hard and it is well-deserved.”

Finning’s dedicated on-highway truck engine parts and service team worked together with Caterpillar and truck engine parts (TEPS) dealers across western Canada (organizations that sell and service Cat-powered trucks and parts) to streamline the parts ordering process customers.

“Our TEPS dealers are important partners for us and our customers,” says TEPS program sales administrator Jennifer De Torres. “We’ve built strong partnerships with them and work hard to provide them with tooling, support, training, and the technology to repair Cat-powered truck engines. That support enables them to offer Cat parts and a high level of service.”

Finning has three on-highway truck service locations in Calgary, Grande Prairie and Surrey (serving both Cat-powered and Cat truck customers), and one in Edmonton serving Cat truck customers only (the CT660, CT680, CT681). Working with TEPS dealers has effectively expanded its Cat-powered truck engine parts and service network by 80 plus locations in Alberta, B.C. and N.W.T.
