When we make the move to our new ERP system, adjustments will be made to our paperwork and processes. While we’ll work to make the transition as seamless as possible, there are several changes that we would like to bring to your attention
- Where to send invoices
For faster processing and payment, all invoices should be emailed directly to invoices@finning.ca. With the new centralized system, hard copies will no longer be required by head office or the branch.
- Mandatory purchase order numbers for invoices
All supplier invoices require a valid Finning purchase order (PO) number for payment to be processed.
- Changes to the look of purchase orders and other documentation
Our new system brings new document formats and standards. Information explaining the new format will be made available on this site.
- Electronic funds payment
Sign up for electronic payments and receive your payment from Finning sooner, eliminating the need for a paper deposit. To sign up, simply complete an EFT Application Form.
- Multiple currency transactions
In our previous system, suppliers who dealt in different currencies needed an account for each currency, which meant one supplier could have multiple accounts. In our new system, we will be able to consolidate multiple accounts into a single supplier account and pay in multiple currencies. Please note, if we issue your business a purchase order in a given currency, your incoming invoice must be issued in the same currency. The currency used on the incoming invoice must match the currency used on the purchase order for our invoice verification to succeed and for payment to be made promptly.
