This is accomplished with a project management approach to every contract. A project manager is assigned responsibility for the entire job and facilitates its successful conclusion by coordinating the various teams of specialists.
Electrical and mechanical design engineering for any project is available from our skilled in-house engineering and design professionals. The Finning Power Systems engineering group integrates electronic engine controls with customer systems to enhance the operation of the installation. Whether it is heat recovery systems, custom PLC and switchgear design, or distributed generation power modules, Finning Power Systems can provide integrated power system solutions.
Our facilities boast a world-class assembly and test facility that can accommodate the full range of Caterpillar engines up to 5000kw and 15000 volts. This resource has the capacity to simultaneously test two, 2000 kilowatt units while computerized recording equipment, housed in a separate control room, monitors various engine and generator functions.
As a worldwide supplier, Finning Power Systems meets internationally recognized standards of quality assurance. This includes complete testing of installations designed and packaged by Finning at our test facilities and again on-site during commissioning.
