Incorrect equipment serial numbers will result in order discrepancies.

To all our valued TEPS customers.

Finning (Canada) Power Systems has recently been informed of a potential issue when using equipment serial numbers in PartStore orders.

The error occurs when using the "Equipment" drop down field (image) to choose a serial number while completing a PartStore order.

The effect of incorrect serial numbers are potential discrepancies in your orders and invoices.

To ensure that your orders are processed and invoiced correctly, we advise you to AVOID using the "Equipment" drop down field and enter one of the following values in the "Serial Number" field instead:

  • Enter the CORRECT SERIAL NUMBER (we recommend double checking serial number)
  • Enter "STOCK" (without the quotations) OR
  • enter "EMERG" (again without quotations)
